Back in 2017, two uni mates(Sam & Daz) with a love for creativity decided to do something a little out of the box. With nothing more than curiosity, ambition, and two cameras, they began photographing surfers and everyday life by the beach. That simple spark lit a passion for storytelling through photography.

What started as a hobby quickly grew into a vision. Both dreamed of building something bigger together, that vision became “Wed Vows”. Their very first wedding was an intimate wedding at the historic Galle Fort, Sri Lanka, in 2017. From that day forward, they knew they had found their calling. Over the years, Wed Vows grew into more than just a business, it became a journey of capturing love stories, cultures, and traditions, blossoming into 100+ weddings and 100+ happy couples worldwide.

With time, Wed Vows expanded beyond borders. Daz took the brand to Toronto, building the Canadian chapter and bringing the Wed Vows touch to couples across North America. Meanwhile, Sam, guided by Demi’s creative direction, set his sights on Melbourne, inspired by its vibrant landscapes and unique charm. Together, they opened the Melbourne chapter, bringing Wed Vows’ artistry to Australia.

Today, Wed Vows is no longer just the dream of two uni friends, it’s a global team of wedding photographers. A team that shares the same heart, the same passion, and the same promise to capture love stories authentically and beautifully, no matter where in the world they unfold.
